The law firm HSW – Harder Sedlmeier Weitzel Rechtsanwälte, founded in 2022, ultimately emerged from the Munich office of Büsing, Müffelmann & Theye (BMT).
Mr. Weitzel is a computer scientist and lawyer. He specializes in two areas: IT law, in particular large outsourcing and IT projects, and corporate law, primarily for IT companies. He also clarifies commercial law issues for his clients.
Mr. Weitzel was initially a lawyer in Frankfurt and then worked for the international technology group Giesecke+Devrient in Munich for ten years. He has been working as a lawyer again since 2009. He is also a lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology (IT law, risk management and IT strategy). His entrepreneurial experience is in demand as a supervisory board member and part-time managing director. In addition, Mr. Weitzel regularly gives lectures in legal and CIO circles.
